Special Consideration Program for Graduate Studies
Mercer undergraduate students who successfully complete bachelor’s degree requirements and fulfill eligibility requirements at the point of program application, and alumni who graduated within the past two years, may be eligible to become a Double Bear and earn a Mercer graduate or professional degree through the University’s Special Consideration Program (SCP).

Benefits
- Scholarships awarded for $2,000 or more for full-time enrollment and $1,000 or more for half-time enrollment, based on program selection
- Waived application fee for eligible programs
- Waived GMAT/GRE/MAT test requirement for most eligible programs
- Priority course registration
- Priority admission consideration
Program Admission Criteria
- Undergraduate degree requirements are met with at least 32 semester hours completed at Mercer
- Overall grade point average of 3.0 required (including any transferred hours); overall GPA of 3.0 in all courses completed at Mercer; overall GPA of 3.0 in all core curriculum courses (if applicable), and overall GPA of 3.0 in all courses at Mercer in declared major
- Students admitted through the Special Consideration Program must maintain at least half-time enrollment throughout the program for eligibility
